KV2 Audio does Jazz on a Summer
Evening ‘perfectly’.Riccos Sound and Light Ltd recently supplied a KV2
Audio Single ES active-driven loudspeaker system for the sold-out Jazz
on a Summer Evening concert, at Coral Beach Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus.The
system, comprised one ES 1.0 mid/high/mid-bass per side, with a total of
four ES1.8 subwoofers situated across the stage. Two EPAK 2500s,
specifically designed for the ES Series modular loudspeaker system
provided active control and amplification.Top Jazz acts Acker Bilk and
Kenny Ball, who perform all over the world with their accompanying jazz
men, were joined by the Da Capo Trio featuring Cathryn Robson. They all
bebopped and blew to a 1,000-strong crowd, who appreciated the clarity
of the KV2 Audio system.Les Squires, tour manager for both Acker and
Kenny, said, “We couldn’t fault the sound system. It was perfect in what
was a large venue – and Pambos and his crew were very professional.” The
British sound engineers for all 18 musicians were also “Fantastically
happy” with the increased dynamic range of a KV2 Audio loudspeaker
system.
